I started out playing on 1 old Pioneer direct drive, 1 Sanyo belt drive, and a Radio Shack mixer. I am, for the most part, self-taught. At the time I lived in the country (The Dalles, OR.) so I would travel down to Portland, buy some vinyl, chat with agood friend and former dj (DJ Spunn RIP) and head home to practice virtually all day, every day. After a few years I had gotten the right gear, built a record collection, and had moved back to Portland where I continued to build and improve my skills and technique as I played out anywhere I could. My first real rave gig was Synergy's 1st year anniversary. From there I have continued to play better shows, and make more and more people dance. Now I play for Starcatcher's Productions and get most of my shows through them (forever grateful). 13 mixtapes and 11+ produced tracks later, I still look forward to improving my skill and technique as a dj/producer and can't wait for the future...
